A large painting on canvas with a primarily yellow ground; its predominant imagery is an arrangement of ten frilled seashells, in black, that fill the compositional frame.
Flag on pink satin with gold sequin background depicts a male Vodou priest (houngan) climbing a tree reaching toward a bottle suspended from a branch; female Vodou priest (mambo) in a in white dress and red head-wrap stands on the ground below the man, holding implements in her hand. The veve, or graphic sign for the "loa" Grand Bois located in lower right; house with steeply sloped roof and additional trees in background. Other ritual objects at base of tree and suspended from branch.
