Light blue and white jasper kettle, the lower body engine-turned to create a pattern of stripes, the main body decorated with white relief with on one side Charlotte at the Tomb of Werther and on the other with figures from the Domestic Employment series, on the shoulder are stylized reeds and floral elements, the neck is raised and scalloped and the cover sits inside it, the cover likewise engine-turned and with a pattern of stiff leaf motifs and beading emanating from the conforming ball knop, the relatively straight spout is molded with overlapping leaves, the bail handle is comprised of silver and wood.

Large, rectangular porcelain platter of white porcelain with underglaze blue decoration, with truncated corners and hand modelled border of exotic shells of various sizes in high relief, in the center well the hand-painted image of Black civil rights protesters in Birmingham, Alabama, being set upon by police and dogs on May 3, 1963, after Andy Warhol's screen print "Race Riot" made after the incident in 1964, the space on either side of the main image filled in solid blue.
