Creamware flatback figural group of Uncle Tom and little Eva from "Uncle Tom's Cabin," Uncle Tom sits on a stump with his right foot resting on a wrapped package, he wears a white suit picked out in gold, his shoes, face and hands are glazed black, in his left hand he holds a yellow straw hat, around his neck is a floral garland, with a small sprig of foliage at his left foot, Eva stands on his right knee, she wears a white dress and holds a floral sprig in her right hand, her shoes are blue and her hair is brown, Uncle Tom's right hand is around Eva's waist, holding her on his knee, Eva's left arm is around Uncle Tom's neck, the base with two parallel gold lines and the names "Eva & Uncle Tom" in script.
Food warmer, or veilleuse, of creamware and decorated with multicolored metallic oxides in mottled shades of green, brown, gray, and yellow (so-called “tortoiseshell” ware) under a clear glaze, consisting of the pedestal body (.3); the two-handled cup (.2); and the cover with a candleholder as finial (.1); the body cylindrical with two rococo scroll handles and an opening at front in the shape of a pointed arch to accommodate a warming apparatus, above this and on rear side a female mask with small holes for the eyes, beside the mask on either side a series of nine holes each in a diamond-shaped pattern to allow for venting, the cup with two interlaced loop handles, the cover slightly domed with a tall candle socket with pierced side as finial.
Porcelain Commedia dell'arte figural group of a Harlequin wearing a lilac conical hat, a white ruff over a gilt-edged jacket half patterned with yellow, lilac and black diamonds and the other half blue and patterned with playing cards, with large gold buttons, with white trousers and lilac shoes with big yellow bows, in his left hand he holds cherries, he kneels behind his female companion Columbine, who wears a lilac and yellow bodice and white skirt decorated with bright "indianische Blumen", seated with a basket of cherries on her lap, her right hand by a colorful green parrot perched on a gilt-edged, white tripod table, her left hand and gaze raised toward a second parrot perched on a leafy branch of the tree behind them, the mound base applied with colorful flowers and green leaves.
