- Provenance Made for the Itakura Daimyo of Bitchu Province. Went into collection of a temple in Tsuyama City, then passed back to the Itakura family. Originally made as a piece for Matsuyama Castle. Purchased by the Birmingham Museum of Art from a private dealer in Japan
