Vase, or urn-shaped, small silver sugar resting on a square plinth, the round foot beaded around the edge, with two elongated, ear-shaped handles with stylized leafy terminals, the upper edge of the main body likewise beaded, the cover – with a notch to accommodate a small spoon or ladle – extends up with a long neck and flared, beaded, central edge with a domed top and ball finial, the main body engraved on one side with a coat of arms comprised of a semi eagle in profile left above a draped shield (the interior rubbed and not easily legible), the cover engraved on one side with the same eagle.
