The Abe River originates at the peak of Mount Shirane in Kai Provence and flows down rapidly to form a large river that rivals the parallel Oi River. Along the eastern banks Miroku tea is produced, so there is trade i mochi cakes. The name Abe River Moci derives from this area."
On lower print: "The special Abe Tea comes from Kita-Ashikubo in Fuchu. It is the top tea plantation in the Kanto area, and the tea is used widely. People compare it to that of shiragaki and Uji, in the Kansai area."
