Cup-shaped bowl. The bowl's exterior is partially glazed and decorated with irregular black bands on top of a brown coat that varies in pigmentation intensity. The lower half of the bowl is glazed more consistently and the lower black bands have a drip-like quality to them and are also more uniform in size and spacing on the form. The upper half of the bowl contains unglazed black bands that are indented in most parts, creating a rough texture. The lip of the bowl is white and unglazed and the bowl's base is glazed and white. The bowl's interior is glazed irregularly and is primarily mustard, with areas of unglazed bone china showing through.
Solid, light blue jasper bulb pot with pierced white jasper cover, square in shape with applied white jasper decorations, featuring four sections, each applied with the figure of a cupid representing one of the four seasons, the corners with palm trees whose leaves extend to form arches over the cupid figures, each square foot with small white medallions, a serpentine gallery around the rim decorated with white acanthus leaf motifs.
Obverse: The heads of Crown Prince Ludwig (1786-1868; 1825-48 King) and Crown Princess Theresa (1792-1854) of Bavaria in profile right. Reverse, blank.
Bulbous vase with long narrow neck, exterior green black glaze graduated from dark at neck to lighter on body and dark on base, interior glazed cream
