This etching is created with black ink on paper. It pictures a residential street on a hill overlooking an iron furnace. The street extends into the foreground. On the left side of the street are receding houses, some with one or two story porches. A figure enters the front door of the first house, and two additional figures walk in the street. A tree rises at the right side of the street, and next to it the upper half of a car is seen.
Three birds are depicted on a grassy hilltop with mountains populating the background. The bird on the left crouches forward while the two birds on the right stand upright and alert. The bird on the far right is completely white, and the other two birds have white edged wings with black and yellow striping on their bodies. This patterning is more pronounced on the left bird.
