Large, very heavy sculpture in the shape of a large clay bowl on top of a long stem, comprised of both found and cast colorful ceramic objects, resting on a round plate with gilt ornaments adhered to it, the stem is comprised of a two-handled vase of white porcelain decorated with applied leaves and flowers, the main body of the piece is made up of a variety of mismatched and some broken objects, including cups and saucers, flowers, small Toby jugs, ceramic insects and birds, parts of porcelain figures, including a lacy Dresden group and two porcelain figures of peasants, or farmers, which comprise the finial of the piece, applied to the bowl, a light green, sandy grout holds the entire work together.
