Cotton in red, green, yellow and red. Print on white ground. Pieced quilt with four major squares across by three major squares down; white ground with "X" design with leaves at end and four fans in each square; arched quilting, cotton batting.
Large unbleached plain-weave white cotton bedspread or coverlet made up of three vertically oriented panels stitched together and decorated with white candlewick embroidered floral motifs, at the top in large letters the signature and date " Martha R. Richards / 1833," below the signature an urn with flowers and vines at bottom center with flowers filling the central portion of the coverlet and vines snaking along the left and right edges with flowers emanating from them, the two long sides and lower edge finished with a knotted border and fringe of unbleached cotton, the top edge is finished with a border of cotton fringing.

Tall glass goblet with a bowl of burgundy-colored glass and bands of speckled, textured light burgundy and white on the exterior, the bowl tapers to a bulbous-shaped element and then to a baluster-like stem of clear glass on a round foot also of clear glass, at the bottom of the bowl a small, clear glass dagger is inserted into it creating a dimple from which a burgundy glass, blood-like drip emerges from the point of entry.
