This circular, black and white print represents a number of figures moving logs down a river using log rolling hooks. In a distant boat there are two figures, as well as four on the left bank and three on the right bank of the river. Two central figures dominate the composition, spearing logs with the pointed ends of their log rollers. At the bottom of the print is a small still life that includes some of the implements of logging—a long saw, an axe, a log roller, and a chain—draped over a tree stump.
This black and white photograph represents a street scene with three figures in the foreground. The woman at the center turns her face to the right. She is seized by two men in police uniforms and helmets. Behind the group is a car, people in the distance, and the marquee of a theater.

This painting represents a seascape with two waves rolling into shore breaking at the right of the composition. They break onto a rocky coastline that begins in lower center of the painting and extends up the left side of the painting. The rocks become a natural jetty that curves out to sea from the center left edge of the painting. One sailboat is close to shore and clearly identifiable, while a number of sailboats can be seen on the distant horizon.
