Solid light blue jasper plate with white and yellow relief decoration (tricolor) commemorating the 200th anniversary of the creation of jasperware, the edge with a border of framed, stylized floral elements, the inner well with heavy garlands hanging from ram's head masks with banners on either side and hanging below, between the garlands in yellow relief are small scenes of cupids and animals alternating with hanging trophies in white relief, in the center a band comprised of a ribbon encircling a leafy vine that encloses a relief scene of the Muses Watering Pegasus.
Plain creamware teapot of globular form, the upper edge scalloped and molded with a shell edge design, the curved spout terminates with a shell motif, with intertwined, double strap loop handle and conforming cover with flower finial, the neck edge and finial with traces of gilding.
Head in profile left in decorative cast-iron frame.
