Small footed cup of creamy beige stoneware with a slightly flared rim, covered with a flecked opaque white glaze upon which are painted simple human and animal figures in greenish gray around the main body of the cup, the foot is unglazed.
Large centerpiece of Wedgwood Majolica in the form of two naiads, or nymphs, each with long brownish-blond hair held back by a leafy wreath encircling their heads and wearing a blue bathing costume, amongst molded, blue-green waves that form the base and holding between them an outstretched fishing net that serves as a basket for fruit or the like.
Solid light blue jasper tablet with applied white jasper relief decoration with light shading depicting Achilles at Skyros at the time of his discovery and departure, with from left a knight with horse, Lycomedes sitting on the throne, two naked Doryphoroi, or spear bearers, one of Lycomedes daughters in a long girt chiton springing away with a gesture of alarm, Achilles brandishing a sword, his woman's chiton slipping, his lover Deidameia is behind him with her hands on his shoulders, three other male figures, possibly Odysseus, Agamemnon with an attendant, and Diomedes are to the right.
