This black and white photograph represents an uprooted tree laying on dark sand with the roots exposed. In the center background are snow capped mountains and some vegetation.
In this black and white photo a stone angel sculpture looks down on a tombstone. The angel is dressed in robes and in her left hand holds an instrument, in her right hand she holds a scroll. Her figure, and the tombstone are dramatically lit by the midday sun. The tombstone reads “Dr. John Callan”. In the background spring trees are in bloom. The image sheet has a rugged edge.
