Plate of white soft-paste porcelain with scalloped edges decorated with the Kakiemon "Two Quail" pattern depicting a scene of two quails, one painted in iron red, and the other in blue with green tipped wing feathers, pecking at seeds beneath an arched prunus tree with blue painted trunk and iron-red and gilt decorated flowers in bloom, and facing a flowering shrub with large leaves, the edge with an iron-red meandering leaf border.
Small oval medallion of black basalt with the bas relief image of an enslaved African man wearing only a loin cloth, kneeling and in shackles, with his hands grasped together, around him the inscription AM I NOT A MAN AND A BROTHER?
Blue jasper socket saucer with white relief acanthus leaf decoration
Ewer of solid white jasper with black jasper dip and applied white jasper relief decoration, on square plinth decorated with white anthemion motifs, the round foot likewise with anthemion motifs, the stem with a band of beading and the lower body with lotus motifs, the main body with the applied figures of the nine Muses below a band of stylized anthemion motifs, above that a frieze of five small relief scenes in oval reserves, with beading around the neck, ruffled spout and snake handle.
