This painting represents stand of narrow-shafted trees, scattered throughout the foreground and shown receding off to the right of the middle ground. A stream is also shown in the middle ground, running over a rocky outcropping. The background represents additional trees in green and yellow, and possibly a mountain ridge extending above the treetops. The main colors of the painting are yellow, orange, and green.
