Molded tripod vase and reversible cover of black basalt, the vase supported by three legs with lion's masks at top, the legs and the vase body decorated with bands of various classical motifs, including acanthus leaves and fluting on the upper body and a band of fasces at the neck, the cover reverses from a domed one decorated with scrolling foliage and a sunflower finial to a lotus-shaped candle holder with acanthus-leaf motifs.
Small oval medallion of black basalt with the bearded portrait bust of the Roman general and politician Quintilius draped and with laurel leaf crown facing right, below the bust impressed QUINTILI., set into a simple, tooled silver mount with an eye for a chain.
Helmet-shaped pitcher of solid lilac jasper with applied white jasper relief decoration, on round foot decorated with overlapping acanthus leaves around the edge and a band of anthemion motifs, with beading, the lower body with stiff leaf motifs and a band of guilloche, the upper body with figures from the Domestic Employment series below floral garlands and a leafy vine motif around the upper edge, the ear-shaped handle is not original.
Creamware fruit basket and stand, both with a basket weave design in the well, the basket with open woven sides and a double woven band entwining the edge, the stand with pierced rim, and both basket and stand trimmed in cobalt blue.
