Miniature coffee and tea set with pattern #348 (gold wreath between two red lines). Set consists of teapot, coffeepot, hot water kettle, tea caddy, sugar bowl with cover, creamer, tray, six saucers, five teacups without handles, and three cups with handles.
Covered chocolate cup and saucer of undecorated white stoneware, the cup footed and goblet shaped with two double scroll handles, the conforming cover with flat finial, the saucer molded with a slight indent in the middle to hold the cup, the interior of the cup is lapidary polished and the underside of the cover is glazed.
Tall creamware flat-back figural group of abolitionist John Brown with two small African-American girls in white dresses on an oval base with the name JOHN BROWN on the front, the skin of the girls glazed dark brown, the hair black, Brown's beard glazed brown and his cheeks rosy, otherwise his suit is white with details picked out in bronze lustre, his shoes black.
