The inscribed two verses are excerpted from “Dedication to Tianzhu Lingyin Temple in Early Autumn” (《早秋寄題天竺靈隱寺》), a poem written by Jia Dao (779-843, Tang Dynasty).
One of eight scenes of planting and harvesting rice and the various stages of silk production. The set was intended to be mounted as a folding screen.
