Liu Hai represents prosperity and wealth to the Chinese. He was a government official and alchemist in ancient China who befriended a three-legged toad. According to the story, every time the toad jumped into a well he returned with a gold coin. Having an image of these two in your home or office greatly improves your chance of receiving riches.
