Small irregularly round bowl of coarse reddish brown stoneware covered with an opaque glaze that is bluish at the rim and drips down white then becomes beige as the glaze runs down the body of the bowl the glaze is speckled and flecked and the bowl is decorated on both sides with bluish squiggle patterns highlighted in white there are glaze free spots at the foot where the potter held the piece while dipping it into the glaze
