Small statuette of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe standing in full figure on small, flat, square base, wearing trousers and long, buttoned frock coat, open at the neck and with scarf, his left hand on his hip, his right hand holding a book.
Small rectangular, enameled copper box the lid and sides painted in a gilt lattice work pattern with floral sprays on the sides, the lid with an oval reserve in which is painted the half-length portrait of a woman, with gilt metal mounts.
Round basalt medallion with encaustic profile portrait of Dr Daniel Solander (1736-1782), with self-frame. Solander was a Swedish naturalist who studied at the University of Uppsala, taking an M.D Degree later becoming an employee at the British Museum
