This is a landscape painting of mountains in iceland. It’s formed with primarily pastel colors but contains moments of red, particularly towards the bottom of the composition. Mountainous landscape is suggested through a thin line and only the mountain to the right has any apparent ridges. The abstract white forms in the sky suggest clouds that feed into a diagonal line, suggesting fog. The paint on the surface of the work has been built up and, in certain places, stripped away by the artist.
