Bust.
Bust of the English poet, playwright and politician Joseph Addison (1672-1719) in black basalt made in one mold with hollow body and flat back, the socle square with bombay front and small reserve in which the name ADDISON and with a Greek key border along the lower edge, Addison depicted with short hair in civilian dress with loose shirt with open collar and embroidered jacket, with drapery that features embroidered trim.
Censer, or incense burner, of white stoneware covered with brown glaze under a clear pearl glaze, drum shaped with a series of vertical white stripes around the body and gilt floral garlands held by rams' heads with gilt paterae between, with flat perforated cover with a central opening in the form of a two-handled bowl, likewise with vertical white stripes.
