Tall, heavy, covered jar of blackish raku glazed and fired stoneware, the body conical and the cover large and flat, the glaze a creamy opaque white with crackling and numerous glaze imperfections that give the piece a rustic feel, the foot left glaze free.
Plain creamware fruit basket and stand, both with a molded basket weave design in the well, the basket with open woven sides and a double woven band entwining the edge, the stand with pierced latticework rim, and both basket and stand trimmed in yellow and brown enamel.
On rectangular base, a male peasant kneels behind a bucket.
Large plate of creamware with shallow well and wide rim, painted on the front with the scene of the Good Samaritan - in a landscape a man lies unconscious on the road in the foreground while a man with a donkey stops to help, further along the road a cloaked figure with a walking stick walks away, the plate with a mustard-yellow edge.
