In her left arm she carries a blue and white porcelain bowl filled with various fruit. In her extended right hand, she holds a pineapple, a symbol of welcome and hospitality.

This etching is created with black ink on paper. It pictures a residential alley with fences behind houses on both sides, two houses on the left and two on the right. In the alley, a woman leans on the fence at the right, facing away from the viewer. There is also a fence at the end of the alley, above which are a laundry line and trees.
