Scene of King George III (whose face is hidden behind a column) kicking the bottom of a lord, pulling his hair, and raising his scepter as if to fell a blow. Other lords have tumbled into a pile trying to escape the king's violent response to their proposal of a bill of Catholic emancipation, which sought to remove legal tests and other restrictions on Catholics imposed since the reign of Henry VIII.
