In this black and white photograph, a young African American girl leans against a dress form and a door surround. She is slightly shorter than the form and wears a short sleeved dress. On the form is a floral patterned skirt and jacket. The room within which the girl and the dress form stand is crowded with other objects—bolts of cloth stacked on a checked cloth covering a pile of things which appear to be resting on a barrel. Through the door surround a small amount of the next room—possibly a hallway—can be seen.
