This luxurious evening coat was worn by Mrs. Dorothy Roden Davis Gray (1897-1973) of Birmingham. In 1920 Miss Davis married Henry Bramlette Gray, Jr. (1892-1953), son of Henry Bramlette Gray (1867-1919), former Jefferson County Treasurer and Lieutenant Governor of Alabama from 1907 until 1911.
