Bulbous, urn-shaped potpourri vase or bulb pot of solid white jasper with lilac jasper dip and applied white and green jasper relief decoration, on round foot with bunches of reeds bound by green ribbons around both the foot and upper edge, the lower body with stylized acanthus leaves and lotus motifs, the main body with alternating white and lilac stripes with molded, applied green jasper straps that create a basket weave pattern, with a band of white bell flowers around the neck, the insert cover is a metal replacement.

Small, silver fruit or sweetmeat basket on raised, pierced oval foot with beaded edge, the basket of similar oval form with beaded edge and two bands, one at the upper body, one at the lower, of pierced decoration in a kind of engraved leaf motif, the central band with pierced roundels inset with stylized floral motifs, the outside of the basket left undecorated, the inside walls engraved with floral swags between the pierced motifs, the central well engraved with a lion’s head erased with tongue (crest of many different families), with beaded swing handle.
