Large double-walled footed vase of black stoneware in amphora shape, glazed and incised, the main body covered with a light blue slip and decorated on the lower half with gadrooning, the bulbous main body pierced above a series of stiff leaf motifs featuring a pattern of lattice work within a border, above them a band of semi-circles with pierced dots, the shoulder of the vase with incised organic motifs glazed a bright blue and bright red, with two scrolled handles, likewise glazed red, the plain neck covered with light blue slip, the lip, interior and exterior of the inner wall glazed red.

Two-piece black moiré silk dress embroidered with bright red flowers, comprised of bodice and skirt, the bodice with high, stiff, straight collar and loose inset blouse of plain black silk with nipped waist and back tie, with leg-of-mutton sleeves, the tulip bell skirt with ruffled hem, the back gathered at the waist and with a slight train.

Large unbleached plain-weave white cotton bedspread or coverlet made up of three vertically oriented panels stitched together and decorated with white candlewick embroidered floral motifs, at the top in large letters the signature and date " Martha R. Richards / 1833," below the signature an urn with flowers and vines at bottom center with flowers filling the central portion of the coverlet and vines snaking along the left and right edges with flowers emanating from them, the two long sides and lower edge finished with a knotted border and fringe of unbleached cotton, the top edge is finished with a border of cotton fringing.
