Tall, flattened vessel of squarish shape with coiled handles and a folded-like, slightly scrunched surface, covered with a deep blue glaze the surface of which is flecked and irregular.
Creamware soup bowl enameled and gilt in the center with the Royal Arms of the United Kingdom, including lion and unicorn supporters above the motto banner, 'Nec Temere' 'Nec Timide', within a blue scalloped border edged with gold barbs.
Round dark blue medallion with white relief profile portrait of Queen Victoria (1819-1901) facing left, Queen of Great Britain and Ireland, Empress of India; only child of the Duke of Kent and Victoria Maria Louisa of Saxe Coburg; born at Kensington Palace, 1819. She was crowned in 1838, and in 1840 married Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha by whom she had nine children. Victoria had strong likes and dislikes among the politicians of the day, and although she was, on the whole, a constitutional sovereign, she retained a keen appreciation of her own powers.
Covered urn of solid white jasper with crimson jasper dip and applied white jasper relief decoration, of calyx krater shape, on round foot decorated with overlapping acanthus leaves, the stem and lower body with acanthus leaves and lotus motifs, with two elongated loop handles with white leafy motifs, the main body decorated with applied classical figures, including a sacrifice, a woman with a deer and a woman with a bird, the overlapping lip with a pattern of acanthus leaves, the conforming cover with acanthus leaf and lotus motifs and teardrop finial.
