We see, from across a single lane road, a small wooden store that bears signs for Coca Cola, bread and cigarettes. On either side of the screen door entrance, women and children sit relaxing on benches beneath the storefront overhang.

The center of the work is a mix of black and orange brushstrokes, a piece of red-painted newspaper, and a green and black-painted piece of paper that has been adhered to the paper. On both sides of the black center are areas of white with some hints of light blue paint on the right. There is a large piece of newspaper painted lavender in the lower right part of the paper and a blue-green triangle of cut newspaper on the left-hand side. The upper half of the paper has several rectangles of color, including areas of pink, black, white, orange, and blue.
