Quilt, "Wild Goose Chase" pattern, Mary Ann Rouse Thomas, cotton
Large, hand-sewn rectangular quilt of cotton velvet, cotton and wool, in the Log Cabin pattern comprised of a grid of squares of crushed brown velvet strips and opposing green strips with a single maroon square in the center, with beige edging, the backing in a printed cotton floral fabric in shades of brown and red, repairs have been made throughout with orange and rust-colored velvet and brown cotton.
Punch service consisting of a punch bowl, ladle, twenty four cups, and a painted wood and plaster base. Punch bowl is decorated with eagle handles at each side; elaborate inscription around top rim; engraved picture of ship on one side around rim and other side has Birmingham Fairfield Steel and Iron Works
