Small covered vase of tricolor jasperware, urn shaped with two low handles, the main body decorated in white bas relief with on one side figures from the scene "Maternal Affection" designed by Lady Elizabeth Templetown and originally modeled by William Hackwood in 1783; on the other the figures of the goddesses Abundantia holding a cornucopia and Hera (Juno) with a peacock, drawn from the same scene, between the two sides above each handle is a tree and other flora, the lower body decorated with white jasper acanthus leaves between dark blue jasper reed-like elements, each handle highlighted in dark blue jasper husk, or bellflower, motifs, the upper edge and around the round foot a band of dark blue acanthus leaves, the domed cover with like white jasper acanthus leaves and dark blue jasper reed-like elements, with tear-drop finial, the square pedestal with on each side in white jasper a central rosette with stylized anthemion motifs.
