Large squat Marsden's Art Ware vase of glazed and slip-decorated earthenware, of baluster shape with rolled lip, the body interior and underside covered with a beige glaze, the main exterior body covered with a teal-blue glaze and decorated in a design of leafy branches in brown and beige slip and clusters of oranges in a light teal slip with beige dots indicating a typical orange-peel pattern, the neck with a wide brown band above narrow beige bands.
Small, heavy footed bowl of dark stoneware, the foot flares out toward the bottom, the bowl with a sharp, convex shoulder and wide opening, the foot and lower body covered with a uniform brown, slightly metallic glaze, the shoulder and the interior of the bowl with a bright cobalt blue, mottled glaze edged in a light turquoise with flecks of yellow.
