On a round base with four feet in the form of cannons and decorated in relief with implements of war, the stem is comprised of a pyramid of cannon balls upon which rests a drum and a two-headed eagle with outstretched wings and wearing a shield on its breast with the image of St. George and the Dragon, the candle socket is in the form of a crown, the bobeche is a later addition.
Miniature two-handled mug of white jasper with a dark blue jasper dip, on side one is the portrait medallion of Josiah Wedgwood facing left with a banner below that reads JOSIAH WEDGWOOD/1730-1795; the other side shows the coat-of-arms of the Wedgwood family with the motto OBSTANTIA DISCINDO (we overcome all obstacles)
Oval tri-color jasper (lilac, dark blue, and white) cameo with white relief scene depicting Venus disarming Cupid
Covered urn of solid white jasper with green jasper dip and applied white jasper relief decoration, ovoid in shape and resting on a square plinth decorated with palmettes, the round foot with a band of laurel leaves, the body heavily decorated with stylized leafy motifs, arabesques of scrolls, flowers and leaves, and a band of ribbon entwined with ivy leaves, the thick round cover with green dip on both sides, on one a large cupid finial, the other side appears as if it might have originally had some sort of finial also.
