Rectangular quilt in the "Sunbonnet Sue" pattern, with navy blue polka-dotted background fabric with light yellow border, upon which a series of Sunbonnet Sues in a variety of cotton calico, some in silhouette against the background, others against a light pink floral piece of fabric, each Sue embroidered with the name of a woman or man, with central inscription: 178 GIRLS/NO TWO/JUST ALIKE/EXCEPT THE/TWINS FIND/THEM. The back of yellow cotton with orange floral pattern and same light yellow border.
A pitcher with a handle in the form an oak tree bough, its branches extending to form the lip of the vessel–, and foliage – filled with oak leafs and acorns –spreading across the vessel. The pitcher commemorates Connecticut's celebrated "Charter Oak," a pre-revolutionary symbol of American independence. According to legend, in 1687, Connecticut's Royal Charter of 1662 was hidden in hollow within the tree to prevent its confiscation by the English governor-general.
Tall wine goblet with a burgundy bowl, the exterior partially covered with a textured white glass, the lip with two intentional chips from which burgundy-colored glass drips emerge and run down the bowl, the long stem descends into an open burgundy and white flower-like form with similar glass drips and linear threads that spiral to the foot, which is round and of clear glass.
