Tall silver coffeepot of elongated pear-shaped form on round, stepped foot, the elegantly curved spout decorated with stylized foliage, the wooden hand two modified C-scrolls with a tightly scrolled thumb rest, the hinged, domed lid with a band of gadrooning at the edge and with a fluted cap-shaped finial, one side of the main body engraved with a fictitious coat of arms above a banner that reads, IN MEMORY OF MISS BARBARA KIRKHAM OB: 10 DEC: 1769

Small, round, footed bowl of tan stoneware set on an angle and covered with a rough creamy glaze with streaks of brown, the narrow central well flanked by large, delicate, billowing "flanges" with ruffled edges highlighted in gray that give the bowl the sense of fluttering movement.
