This black and white photograph represents a partial view of a staircase leading to the entrance of a stone building. The stairs and building doorway are heavily ornamented. The doorway is blocked by two pieces of wood, one reading “DANGE. / KEE OU.” To the left of the doorway two windows can be seen. In the first story window, one boy stands while a second sits. Another boy looks out from a second story window.
A black and white photograph of pieces of drift wood amongst a natural dip or pool in the rocks. The bright and light colored pieces of wood stand out against the dark and smooth rocks. An indented oval shape in the rocks resembles an eye.
The painting is dominated by a field of tulips in yellow, pink, orange, white, and red, planted in rectangles that recede towards the upper left corner. A village with primarily one-story buildings and a few towered or steepeld structureds sits at the top surrounded by a cloudy sky.
