Standing Female Figure, Royal Prussian Iron Foundry, Gleiwitz, cast iron
Small silver, oval tray on four cast ball and claw feet, with beaded edge.
Obverse: Head in profile right. Reverse: Eagle with laurel branch.
Caneware conceit (shape 419 in Shape Book) in the form of an oval, tiered cake with sides made of lady fingers and white stoneware applied relief that simulates icing in a design of beading within arched and interlaced borders, on the top an intertwined laurel wreath with musical trophies inside, with a solid flat base with a single large firing hole.
