Grandmother's flower garden quilt.
A press-molded circular pitcher with dark brown glaze, a broad spout, and tall neck decorated in relief with a grapevine motif. The handle is in the form of a greyhound, which appears to be climbing into the jug. The body is decorated in relief with hunting scenes: hounds attacking a stag on one side and mastiffs attacking a boar on the other.
Large, rectangular quilt in the "Pine Burr" pattern, the official quilt pattern of Alabama, made of 23,850 square pieces of colorful cotton and polyester fabric, folded and sewn layer on layer to create the textural effect of a pinecone, pieced together in a grid of 99 blocks with circular patterns in the center comprised of triangular elements, edged in red.
