This bronze sculpture represents a nude man seated on a rock with chains on his wrists.
A smiling, nude cherubic female child holding a duck in each arm standing atop a cylindrical plinth embellished with five ducks in bas-relief on a hexagonal base. The sculpture is piped for use as a fountain, with small copper tubes visible in the mouth of the ducks held by the toddler. The condition is commensurate with age and use and the weathered green verdigris patina resulted from being kept outdoors as a working fountain, its intended use.
