In this black and white photograph, a group of young men and boys stand in a mill or factory to the right of a brick wall and a brightly lit window. Nine people are clearly visible. To the right of the group of boys are machines displaying bobbins loaded with spooled thread.
This black and white photograph represents a white woman, facing the camera. She is photographed at close proximity and the top of her head is cut out of the image, which stops below the collar of her furry jacket. Netting extends to below her eyes and above the bottom of her nose. A large, round earring is visible in her right ear, and hse wears pearls around her neck. Her lips are painted with a dark lipstick. They are parted, and her teeth are visible.
