In this still life, fruit and a bottle of wine are situated on a table. From left to right, the composition includes blackberries in a bowl, half of a watermelon with a knife protruding and a piece carved off in front, a partially peeled orange, one half of a halved lemon, both halves of a halved peach, and a bunch of plums with stems and leaves still attached. Behind the halved peach is the bottle of wine, and behind the bottle of wine are two apples. To the left of the bottle of wine is a partially filled wine glass, and behind the glass is a pedestal holding apples and bunches of grapes. The painting is on a dark background. The right of the table is covered in a red and white table cloth.
