Urn-shaped vase of solid white jasper with lilac jasper dip and applied white and green jasper relief decoration, on round foot with acanthus leaf border, the body engine turned to reveal a checkerboard pattern (diced ware) on the foot and main body consisting of lilac and white squares, with applied green quatrefoils in the white squares, the lower body with a band of white ribbon and stick above stylized acanthus leaves and lotus leaf motifs, the upper rim with a band of palmettes which form a scalloped edge around the top of the vase.
