Vessel, Matakam people, and Chad, African, fired clay and slip
Globular footed vessel with columnar neck and slightly flared rim has areas of glossy burnished surface and matte surface. Raised flat bands define registers. Patterns within the bands include repeating V-shapes, incised circles, diagonal lines, and impressed shapes.
Globular reddish tripod vessel has broad mouth and raised bands delineating registers of incised zig-zags and impressed patterns; prominent raised ovals on each register.
Heddle pulley with hornbill head.
