This aquatint print is overall reddish in color. It represents abstract but anthropomorphic forms resembling folds of skin, eyes, and a bulbous nose. The image is centered, extending beyond the top and bottom of the plate, with vacant space colored by the plate at its left and right.
A black woman and girl in fancy dress, in profile to the camera, stand on the sidewalk outside of a business, probably a store. A neon sign on the overhang above them reads “Colored Entrance.”
In this black and white print, a male figure sits with his ankles crossed and his hands resting on his ankles. He appears to be naked. In front of him in the lower left of the image is a small, smoking fire.
