Ichi Kai Zui hitsu (Shima Sakon Slays Saito Daihachi at Horagatoge Pass)

The Battle of Yamasaki in 1582 was a turning point in the unification of Japan and the beginning of the long period of peace known as the Edo period (1615-1868). Horagatoge Pass was a key observation point from which one of the generals observed the battle before deciding which side to join.
