How much are tickets?
Tickets are $15 for Members and $25 for Not-Yet-Members. To save $10 and receive benefits all year, you can become a Member of the BMA before purchasing tickets online or at the door.
What is included with ticket price?
Your ticket includes admission, light bites, live music, and art activities. Drinks are available for purchase at bars throughout the Museum.
Is this a 21+ event?
There is no age requirement, but programming is geared toward a 21+ crowd. IDs are checked at the entrance for guests who wish to purchase alcoholic beverages.
Is Art On The Rocks inside or outside?
Both! This event features art activities, music, and bars both inside and out. The main music performance of the evening is on our outdoor stage, weather permitting.
Is parking available?
The Museum’s lot is closed for event setup during Art On The Rocks. Public parking is available nearby at Boutwell Auditorium and various lots downtown. Visit the Birmingham Parking Authority website for more information.
What should I wear?
Whatever makes you feel fabulous! Show off your unique style, whether you’re wearing sneakers or stilettos. There is always a mix at Art On The Rocks. If you want to dress to the theme this year, July is Fluid Fashion and August is Barbie.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes, but we recommend purchasing online ahead of time in case we sell out!
Will there be food?
Light bites are included with admission, however, we recommend grabbing dinner before the event at The Pizitz Food Hall. Stop by the Art On The Rocks Pre-Party at Pizitz beginning at 5:30PM for dinner, music, and delicious Art On The Rocks cocktails at The Louis.
Is there a bar?
Yes! Cocktails, beer, and wine are available for purchase at multiple bars throughout the Museum.
Can I be a vendor at Art On The Rocks?
We do not have vendors at Art On The Rocks at this time.
Do you need volunteers?
If volunteer opportunities are still available, you can sign up here. Volunteers receive FREE admission to the event for serving one 1.5 hour shift.
